3D Modeling

Our process starts on the computer where we use digital software to sculpt the model from scratch.

Since we’re working from scratch, the models are highly customizable. Animals can be in any position, or modeled to facilitate specific functions, such as an internal compartment for hidden equipment or motor mounts for model movement.

3D Printing

Next, we 3D-print the models on our filament and/or resin-based 3D printers.

We currently have the ability to print anything that can fit inside of a 30cm by 30cm by 40cm area. Larger models are printed in parts and assembled.

Finishing

We hand paint our models using a combination of airbrushing and traditional brush painting. This, plus our attention to detail makes for very convincing realistic animal models.

How much does it cost?

Every project is different and therefore will be priced differently.

However, as a what-to-expect example: painted models typically start at around $200.
